Make Up Day And Night

Dull and a rainy day? Never let that effect your make up, day or night!
I will talk you through the steps of my make up which i wear on a daily basis. During the day i never like to put too much on and prefer the natural look. Below are a list of the products which i use on my face to go shopping, for brunch with friends or even to university!

FACE

Firstly always make sure your face has been thoroughly cleansed. Wash it with soap and water. Then if you have time apply a peel off face mask. I use the Tea Tree Witch Hazel from Boots (99p a pack) which really deep cleans, tightens pores and helps remove blackheads. Once its on leave on for 15- 20mins and you can actually feel it working on your face. Since i started using it my skin has been crystal clear! 10/10
After you have applied the peel off mask apply moisturiser. I use Clarins daily energizer cream which is for a younger skin ( ages 19-29) Price : £20  It can be bought from any department store! I bought mine from harrods!

Next i apply my foundation. i always found choosing the right foundation really hard. it took me 6 years to find the perfect foundation and i am so glad to have finally found it! I use Dolce & Gabbana 'the foundation' (perfect finish creamy foundation) once applied it gives you a smooth clear finish, glides easily on the skin making you look fresh and have had an amazing night's sleep. There is no smell to it and gives a great coverage! really recommend it and works well on all skin types! Do not hesitate if you find it hard to find your colour because D&G have offered a wide selection of shades. i think its around 20 different shades if not more! Price: £36 from Harrods

Next i apply bronzer, can be from anywhere but i use Chanel 'Soleil Tan De Chanel' i find this gives me a natural finish and a glow to the face! Its not a powder bronzer its more of a creamy bronzer but glides on well on top of your foundation and gives an even natural finish! Price: 26.00

I then add a bit of  blusher onto my cheeks to enhance my cheekbones. I use Mac 'Dolly Mix' PRICE: £14

EYES
The eyes are really important to me and one of the main features that stands out on anybody's face! so it's always best to apply some concealer before adding any mascara eye-liner or eye-shadow. I never used to put concealer around my eyes until one of my friends introduced me to it and now i cannot live without it because you can really see the difference.  Its called 'erase paste' by benefit and can also be used to hide any blemishes! £22
I then apply some mascara to my eyelashes. i already have quite long eyelashes so i would prefer to use a mascara that thickened them instead of making them longer! Christian Dior have a fabulous range of mascaras! I use 'Dior Show' which always makes my eyelashes look fuller and spider like! £24

I never wear any eye-shadow in the day but on a night out i usually go for the smoky eye effect!  I use Mac 'Mont blanc' eye-shadow and Mac liquid eye-liner to create a Kim Kardashian smoky eye look!

LIPS

In the day i always wear a nude colour lipstick to go with the make up i have on. I use Mac St germain which is a light pink but if i feel its too much i apply Mac 'Myth'  on top to give the more natural look! however in the night or when im slightly more tanned i wear a darker pink or red. Red looks really coo with a tan! :)

NAILS

I love applying nail polish because it always makes your hands look well maintained. i love all the crazy colours/ patterns that everyone is trying out lately. i took myself to Harrods and got what you call a minx nail effect. it looks amazing and i got so many comments on them! have a look (£45):

Hope i helped and you enjoyed reading this blog! Let me know what you think!
Hope you all have a lovely week! :)

How To Fake It!

Feeling a little pasty? or simply lost your golden glow from the summer? Not to worry because i felt the exact same until I was introduced to 'Vita Liberata's' tanning range! and yes I know what you are thinking! it's just the same tanning product that gives an orange look with streaks! but I promise it's not! if you do it correctly!
The one I use is the intense silken mousse which is so furry and light it glides onto your skin drying insistently with no smell! You can buy it from any retail shops or supermarkets. I brought mine from Boots and it cost me £22.50 (well worth the money)
